Crohn’s disease is a condition that causes inflammation in the lining of the digestive system. It is a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), the two major types of IBD are Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. It can affect different areas of the gastrointestinal tract, but mostly occurs in the last section of small intestine and large intestine.
